Phoenix Coffee Works — Maquette v1

Specialty green coffee · Ethiopia & Yemen · based in Oman

Where coffee was born,
we go to source it.

Phoenix Coffee Works selects, grades and ships heirloom green coffee from the Ethiopian highlands and the Yemeni terraces — full traceability from cherry to container, and the paperwork to match.

01

Sourcing at origin

Standing relationships with washing stations and terrace farmers. We buy named lots, never anonymous commodity grades.

02

Grading & cupping

Every lot cupped and scored to SCA protocol. Samples on your bench before you commit a single dollar.

03

Trade & logistics

Contracts, incoterms, export papers and container tracking, handled end to end from the mill to your door.

04

Advisory

Sourcing strategy, supply programmes and market entry for roasters and importers across the Gulf.

Two origins

Ethiopia and Yemen. Different growers, different routes.

Two separate origins, each bought from its own producers. Ethiopian lots ship from Ethiopia; Yemeni lots are loaded at Salalah, in Oman — where Phoenix is based.

Origin 01

Ethiopia

The birthplace of coffee

Where arabica first grew wild, in the forests of Kaffa. We buy washed and natural heirloom lots direct from the growers — an origin entirely of its own.

Yirgacheffe · Guji · Sidamo — shipped from Ethiopia

Origin 02

Yemen

The mountain terraces

A separate origin, its own growers. Terraces above 2,000 m, cherries sun-dried in the old way — the oldest cultivated coffee on earth, still farmed by hand.

Our base

Oman

Muscat & Salalah

Phoenix is based in Oman. Yemeni lots are consolidated and shipped from Salalah, with the contracts, export papers and container tracking handled from here.

Ripe cherries

Picked ripe, cupped before it ships

Selective harvest · scored to SCA

Traceability

Name the terrace

Every bag carries its farm, its harvest year and its cupping score. Ask us where a lot came from and you get an answer, not a region.

Lot → producer → harvest → container

Compliance

Papers that clear

Phytosanitary certificates, certificate of origin, ICO marks and tax invoices — issued from the same system that tracks the shipment.

Contract → clearance, one file

We buy lots, not commodities.
